I have two, maybe three, engagement parties this summer- so exciting!!- and I’m wondering what does the bride usually wear to such event. Should I wear white? If I do, should it be short? Or should I just find a super fun party dress and wear that. What do you think? If you are married, what did you wear to your engagement party?

Today I helped out on a photo shoot for a wedding magazine. My friend Glenn said to dress “designery” because they were also shooting video of the set up process. This is what I wore. Simple skinny jeans, ballet flats, JCrew camper shirt, geometric scarf and blogger bun. Job well done- I totally looked designery.
