Wow- Vancouver… We just got back from 5 days in this wonderful city to our north. I’m still a little overwhelmed by the conference and how awesome it was to meet all my friends IRL, but overall, we had an amazing time. This was the first day as we were heading to our first tweet-up on Granville Island. (You can watch our video here.)
The weather was interesting… it wasn’t cold but it was overcast and gray most of the time. Bob said if you like Twilight than it would be everything you would want from the movie location. Even though it was cloudy, the city is so vibrant and full of energy. Granville Island is an island in the middle of the city- how freakin’ cool is that- that is home to a huge farmers market, tons of local foods, a theatre and playhouse and several big pubs.
As for the outfit- trench coat was my go-to topper for the weekend, paired with light pants and an easy striped tank and scarf and I was ready to go. I felt put together and easy. Perfect for meeting people for the first time.
have you been to vancouver?!
