SOULFISHING: a blogette

On our first full day in Nashville, Bob and I took a bus tour with his mom and sister around Downtown Nashville. The two fabulous ladies with us were the hosts and they are the craziest ladies I have ever met! Wow- don’t by shy for this tour because they will poke fun of everyone on the tour and throw in a little song and dance to boot! 

Nashville was humid and hot- it is the south after all- so I dressed perfect for the weather. Easy racer back tank, my favorite paperbag shorts and sandals… 

This is what I wore on the flight out to Nashville.  (A little late posting, as you can tell)

I went for a really casual, really comfortable, cute look that would keep me warm on the plane (I’m always freezing) but cool enough for Nashville heat.  It worked perfectly!

I tried sticking to a color scheme of white, blue and green for the whole visit.  I wore this long vest several days over tanks and shorts and used my scarf worn here as a belt, too.  This bag was my grandmothers and was just the right carry all for the weekend. I also brought a small white clutch for night outs and fancy southern brunches.  All in all, the colors worked and all the accessories could easily be changed in and out.

Family reunions at what may just be the best brunch place I’ve ever been to! French Toast Stuffed Pancakes… are you kidding me?!

Yes, this is the biggest beer I’ve ever consumed.  It doesn’t compare to Jackson’s huge beer (from… I can’t remember- I just remember it was bigger!)

Yay! Nashville was awesome!
