Um, I’m in love. Don’t these pieces have a sort of native american feel to them? I would love to have them with me on my road trip through the american southwest next week. Over a simple tee and cowboy boots?! love.
I have two, maybe three, engagement parties this summer- so exciting!!- and I’m wondering what does the bride usually wear to such event. Should I wear white? If I do, should it be short? Or should I just find a super fun party dress and wear that. What do you think? If you are married, what did you wear to your engagement party?

This is what I wore today. And was complimented three times- holy smokes- love these orangey-red pants! These were a mega score at JCrew one time- only $5 bucks! I know, you don’t believe me… Luckily my friend Meagan bought the same pair that day so we both can tell the story.
