Typical Sunday Vacation: Get up and drive to La Jolla. Rent paddle boards for four hours. Have an amazing time learning how to paddle board in Mission Bay. Eat the best burger and fries ever. Come home and start the rum and beer drinking. Surf out by the condo. Eat dinner at señor grubbys. On walk home, grab cold stone for dessert. Watch the departed on tv with rum drinks, my family and my super cute boyfriend.
It’s been a great day.
Personally, I believe President Obama acted “stupidly” when he responded to a situation where he hadn’t heard all the facts first… And asking both parties over to the white house for a beer- doesn’t make it any better. If the subject could have been handled so casually, then why did Gates and Obama scream racism? And now both are willing to just let it go. Gates- you should be ashamed as an educator to create a huge public statement and then be willing to brush it aside- you have a responsibility to the students you teach and it’s disgraceful.
(I know this is a mute point now- but this is how I feel)
